Are you good at painting or modeling? Are you creative, do you have an imagination and original ideas? Participate in art discipline of the CEMACH competition!
What will be your task?
The task of this competition is to create an image, collage, sculpture, 3D model, graphic, plastic or other art creation that is connected with modern Israel, with its culture, personalities, society or landscape.
What do you have to do to win?
Register to the competition. Choose the theme which you are interested in and choose the art technique. Then send the concept of your project to the guarantee of the art category Lada Krupková Křesadlová until the end of February 2016. You can describe your concept with a few sentences. If you are not sure with the choice of your theme, technique, format etc., you can request the guarantee of the category for a consultation.
Then send the finished project by this schedule and physical works by post office to the undermentioned address until the end of March 2016.

What should the project be about?
The project CEMACH sets its goals to introduce present Israel to competitors and to show its everyday life. That is why the projects have to be related to modern Israel and why not for example to Jewish history, the Second World War etc. Here you can find examples of the themes:

How will the project be evaluated?
Art works will be evaluated in accordance with following criteria:
1. The originality of motive, how interesting is the concept
An original idea can highly help you in final evaluation. You can demonstrate your opinions, tell the story, describe personality, refer to interesting facts about Israel through your project.
2. The quality of project
Also the quality and pureness of the work are important. You don’t need to be a professional artist. We value your attentive and careful work.
3. The use of relevant sources of information about Israel
Every project should derive from good-quality sources of information. You can find enough sources on the Internet, but we also recommend you to use foreign-language journals, magazines and encyclopedias.
4. The fulfilment of the formal requirements
The project shall include the following:
The title of a work and the name of author
- maximal format of two-dimensional works is B2 (70 x 50 cm)
- maximal size of three-dimensional works is 30 x 30 x 30 cm
- one author can send 1–3 art works, one project has to have only one author
- author has to keep defined theme – Meet the modern Israel
- every project has to be marked with a label which is placed on our website for download
- every project has to include a text (philosophy) about 30–50 words that is a part of the label
- we accept only originals, without adjustment
